New Year - New Variant - New Rules
We hope you have all kept well over the past few months and had a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.
We are pleased to say that we are advised that we are still able to work but only in very limited circumstances. We can only see people who have a medical need such as:
- Unbearable pain
- Inability to perform activities of essential daily living (personal care, feeding , continence management etc)
- Inability to sleep (affecting function)
- Inability to work (for frontline workers)
Telephone Treatment Consultations remain available for everyone with advice on self care but face to face treatment is only available if your condition is covered by one of the above.
On line booking for treatment is currently suspended but still available to book a telephone consultation. Alternatively feel free to call or text on 07979643240, email firstname.lastname@example.org or use the contact us page on this web site.
Please respect the fact that just because we can treat it isn't always right to do so and it is a difficult decision for us to have to make. It is both yours and our responsibility to take care and keep well!
During these uncertain times I keep clients up to date by email. If you wish to be added to our mailing list please add yourself using the Newsletter link on Client Resources tab or the Contact page and we will make sure you are added.
If you are coming for a face to face appointment, please stay in your car at Nether Wallop or wait at the main entrance of Tidworth Leisure Centre and telephone on arrival and we will come out to you to take your temperature and we also require you to sign a new Covid 19 consent form (please bring your own pen). Please also ensure that you have the NHS covid app available to scan the location QR code.
We will be wearing PPE and cleaning down the room and all equipment between each client. A face covering is also essential for you too. We can provide one if you do not have one so please ask!
There will be reduced draping and use of textile couch coverings and no toilet facilities except in an emergency.
Please note that, contrary to GDPR, we will require you to sign a declaration allowing us to share your basic contact information with government contact tracers if it becomes necessary.
We are advised not to treat people within the governments vulnerable groups for Covid 19 as follows:
People with underlying medical conditions including- Autoimmune conditions/suppressed immunity including cancer, Diabetes, Cardiac Disease, COPD, anyone currently or recently in contact with Covid 19 sufferer, anyone suffering post Covid 19 circulatory complications eg DVT, micro embolism, stroke, pulmonary embolism, over 70 years, those shielding household members.
It is essential that if you develop covid like symptoms within 2 weeks of having had an appointment (Temperature, cough or loss of taste/smell) you contact us immediately.
If you develop covid symptoms before treatment please cancel your appointment immediately and do not re-book until you have received a negative test result. No charge will be made in these circumstances.
We apologies but these are the conditions placed on us and for the foreseeable future and for your own safety and it is necessary we adhere to them.
