Iliotibial Band Syndrome

What is this?

Several muscles insert into the ITB and can pull it tight over the lateral knee joint line causing it to become inflamed and sore. This is usually due to an increase in miles or in the requirement for knee stability such as changing to running from road to off road.

How we help

By looking at the stability of the knee and working on improving its control as well as releasing the muscles that insert into the ITB the load can be reduced giving it a chance to heal

For proven effective treatment of muscular aches, pains and soft tissue injuries.
